aha.. i didnt keep my promise to stay home n friday..lols. i still went out in the end cos my frens asked me out n there's no way i can reject them..*blEah =þ

oh man canoeing was great! the weather was perfect! i was worrying u know, whether i'll get sick aft the trip but i didnt ahah!

the first day was alright only. they taught the different strokes u know how to stop, go forward, sideways, backwards. well..it was ok but a bit boring. the second day's the best part. they taught hw to get in and out of the sea water frm our canoe or kayaks they call. getting into the sea was no problem since u just hav ta jump. getting IN frm the water into the canoe is the tough part. haha! i took a long time to get in during my first try but on the 2nd n third i succeeded on both first tries. whoa man, the feeling of success is great. =) then there's the capsize drill. haha! sea water certainly doesnt taste or smell nice when they enter yr mouth n sip right into yr nostrils!! *yUcK! we went rocking the canoe frm left to right thrice before capsizing it. then we had to tap thrice before coming outta water. oh man..it was fun! but i didnt like the feeling of sea water in my mouth n nose...eew.. btw my partner was vincent frm my buddy class 1B01. he's funny. hahas. our canoe kept veering left even as we paddled forward..haha! we were both so fed up so we were like,"why is it tt it keeps veering left?" we repeated this question like a million times. hah. our paddles probably loved our right hands more than our left hands u see. hee. grace went too but she and her partner kept meeting w lotsa problems bcos they prob didnt know the strokes well so steering the canoe left/right was a big problem. ahh... canoeing still turns me on even though i've done it many times. i suggest ppl who havnt sat in one before to try it out. trust me its great.
